0:02:34.0 KD: Exactly, I'll be like, meet me here at this time, but no, I am super jazzed to just talk about a really fun topic, you are one of my favorite people, and I wanna talk about, you had such a fun, fun idea that you're starting to ramp up with membership programs of how do I actually make insurance patients membership patients legally?
0:02:54.1 JC: Yeah. Totally.
0:02:54.3 KD: 'Cause we all know I can't double dip, right? If I'm an insurance patient, don't even talk about membership plans unless I'm trying to swoop you away from a membership plan, but you and your practices and all the people you guys have been seeing, you've been able to find a way and to create PPO patients, insurance patients into membership, so let's dive into it. Before we get into that though, what is BoomCloud, what do you guys do? Kinda give the listeners a little bit of your background, how you even got to this spot to be an authority on speaking membership plans, legally...
0:03:20.3 JC: Sure.
0:03:20.4 KD: Don't worry guys we're gonna tell you, I promise.

0:03:23.3 JC: Yeah, I've been in the Dental Industry basically my entire life, grew up, my dad owns a dental lab, which as I got older, I managed the dental lab for eight years, and my mom's an Office Manager for a Pediatric Dental Office, so and she grew up... When I was growing up, she worked from home, I think she was the Insurance Coordinator at the time, so I'd heard her yelling on the phone with Insurance Companies all the time, so I was, growing up, I had a weird, weird trauma, listening to my mom get frustrated, so frustrated with working with insurance companies, and then obviously working in the dental lab for eight years. A lot of our clients there would call us and vent to us kinda about the problems of insurance, and one day I just thought, why don't we just not work with insurance and create these membership plans. I read a book called The Automatic Customer that basically explains how to create Subscription Revenue in any industry, and that's what kinda inspired me to create BoomCloud, which is a software platform that helps practices create, organize, and scale or grow recurring revenue from membership plans, so we got a lot of things that we do to help you grow the membership plan, 'cause that seems to be one of the hardest parts about it.
0:04:38.8 JC: Because we know Office Managers are spread too thin, so we got some tools that integrate with Practice management... Your Practice Management Software that allow you to reach out and make it convenient for patients to sign up via text messaging and things like that, so I think, if you don't have 'em, yeah, absolutely. If you don't have a membership plan, think about... It's like Amazon Prime but built for your patients, where your patients pay a monthly or a yearly subscription fee, and that's the key word, a subscription fee, in order to get exchange for benefits and savings to the office that you design, and not a third party like what PPOs do.
